Racquetball's Lob Serve

The lob serve is a soft serve that should generally be hit toward one of the back corners. This is to force your opponent to return it from deep in the court and in a more difficult location away from center court. There are many types of lob serves ranging from basic to advanced.

The swing mechanics for racquetball's lob serve are very unique when compared to any other type of shot or serve in racquetball. The lob serve is generally hit at a slower pace than other shots and serves and, as such, certain body movements that generate power are not needed.
